Skating for All Abilities
Every Ability Matters. Every Smile Matters. Everyone Belongs.
Help Us Make a Difference — One Child, One Smile, One Skate at a Time!
Creating a world where children and adults of all abilities can experience the joy of roller skating, build confidence, make friendships, and feel included.
Our Story
Every Child Deserves to Belong
Imagine being a child watching other children laugh, play, and enjoy the simple joy of roller skating, but feeling like you don’t belong because of a disability.
Now imagine the happiness on that child’s face when someone finally says, “Yes, you can skate too!”
That is the heart behind Skating for All Abilities.
Our nonprofit was inspired by two young boys and one heartfelt wish:
“I just want to be like the other kids.”
Those words touched our hearts and inspired a mission to create a place where children and adults of all abilities can experience friendship, confidence, independence, and the joy of roller skating and rollerblading.
Our Mission: Skating Is for Everyone
Skating for All Abilities is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing inclusive, affordable, and accessible recreational opportunities for individuals with autism, sensory challenges, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and other special needs.
Through our partnership with Just For Fun Roller Rink in Mundelein, Illinois, we are already offering sensory-friendly skating sessions designed to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and included.
But we need the support of our community to help this program grow.

Join Us in Making a Difference
When you support Skating for All Abilities, you are doing more than helping fund a skating program.
You are giving a child confidence.
You are giving a family hope.
You are giving someone a place where they feel accepted, included, and valued.
Our dream is simple: To create a community where no child or adult is left watching from the sidelines because of their abilities.
We cannot accomplish this mission alone, but with the generosity of caring individuals and businesses like yours, we can make a lasting difference.
Together, we can make sure everyone has a place to skate.
A Heartfelt Thank You
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering a donation and for helping us build a world where everyone belongs.
With heartfelt appreciation,
